"THE JOY OF SEX"

In case you're not familiar with the book, "The Joy of Sex," it was written in 1972 by Alex Comfort. An updated version of the book is out now. The old title with a subtitle " A Gourmet Guide to Lovemaking" has now been replaced by "The Timeless Guide to Lovemaking." Not nearly as entertaining as gourmet with chapters like Starters, Main Courses and Sauces & Pickles. Hairy men are out too. What's in? A new section on different sexual positions. The author suggests that you set-up a "practice" session before the actual even to make sure no one gets hurt.


I imagine, the book helped people talk about sex in 1972. It's 2009, do we still need help talking about sex?

Women know when men are "in the mood"

Hey guys, having trouble expressing your feelings to women? No worries, a new study says women can tell when you're in the mood.

On a subconscious level, when an aroused man sweats, women can smell it. The men in this study were asked to go without deodorant for a few days. The real question is how many women did those guys attract with their natural smell.

Dream Job: Island Caretaker

107-Year-Old Virgin Seeks Husband

Wang has several candidates to play The Dating Game. How about 113-year-old Tomoji Tanabe. Tanabe does not smoke or drink alcohol, but he does drink a glass of milk in the afternoon.

Maybe 112-year-old Henry William Allingham is more her speed. Allingham apparently attributes his longevity to ‘cigarettes, whisky and wild, wild women’.

Recession? What Recession? More like Regression.

With the current state of the economy, our state of mind might determine how well we weather this storm. CNN is reporting that entrepreneurs may come out ahead in a recession because they have a tendency to regress.


Dean Kamen, the man who invented the Segway scooter says:

"It's not nearly as glamorous as people think to keep working on something and to keep hitting roadblocks and to keep going," he said.

A Harvard Business School professor added:

"Entrepreneurs tend to have a singular weakness that allows them to do things without checking their conscience. Juvenile delinquents act and then try to sort things out afterward. I think entrepreneurs have this tendency."
